On September 25th of 2026, in response to a statement by the 26th Ward regarding several potential housing developments on Armitage Avenue, we submitted the following letter to the office of Alderperson Fuentes of the 26th Ward. In it, we detail our stance on housing, and how we believe that pausing housing projects indiscriminately is not the most effective approach to combatting displacement.
